⟢ ‘  was dat het nou?  ’
In my studio practice, I work with memory as a material. I collect, archive, rearrange and remake what I find, receive or encounter. Memories and objects can surface, shift or return in different forms.

Working mainly with paper and ceramics, but also with textiles, photography and other found materials, I am interested in the space between myself, another and what we leave with each other. Objects move across these boundaries, carrying traces, stories and memories that are not always clearly mine or yours.

Through sorting, binding, building and repeating, I make room for what might otherwise disappear. Sometimes preserving it, sometimes changing it and sometimes cultivating the conditions for it to come forward again.

       - space for you space for me space for everything in between -
